Business Insider found 28 additional instances of plagiarism in her dissertation and other papers. Oxman lifted text from more than a dozen Wikipedia articles without attribution. Oxman was previously caught up in controversy in 2019, when it was revealed that convicted sex offender and financier Jeffrey Epstein gifted some $125,000 to Oxman’s Mediated Matter research group at MIT’s prestigious Media Lab. Oxman said then she had been told at the time that Epstein was an approved donor, and said she regretted accepting the funds

was das Argument der Grundrisse angeht ist dies gerade nicht der springende Punkt : die kleine Whg. wirf IKEA bedient, die grossen (und teuren) Möbel gehen dorthin wo sowohl Platz wie auch Preis nicht die erste Geige spielt. Bescheidenheit ist eine geistige Entscheidung zu der nur wenige fähig sind.........da fehlt di entsprechende Schulung und ...oft....auch das nötige Geld um entspannt denken zu können.. as far as the floor plan argument is concerned, this is at the moment not the point: the small apartment is served by IKEA, the large (and expensive) furniture goes where both space and price do not play first fiddle. Modesty is a mental decision that only a few are capable of.........because they lack the appropriate training and ...often....also the necessary money to be able to think in a relaxed way...

Really interesting talk, thank you. I think a lot of people in the design industry are looking to platforms like Vitra to discuss and seek insight into how to navigate this new space. I agree with the need for regulation around AI but as we already know, governments are not fast enough in pre-empting the impact of new technology and the implications it will have on hundreds of industries. Interesting times ahead!
